Activities - To achieve this competency, I:
- coordinate development and maintenance of curriculum and program related materials
- provide support to Faculty Working Groups and Development Teams
- procure, develop and maintain the record of curriculum for the School so that it is available in a timely fashion to department heads and faculty and to other stakeholders
- establish and administer logistical support for curriculum development in the School
- support the curriculum “modularization” project at CoGS by providing liaison and advice on policies and procedures such as Program Lifecycle (PLC)
- support the review and renewal of programs by leading the analysis of curriculum and development of any changes needed to maintain current industry standards
- maintain currency on trends and applications of IT, Applied Arts and online education
Outcomes - As a result of this learning I can:
- Support the development and maintenance of program curriculum
- Develop and archive curriculum documents
- Apply policy, procedure, and best practices to curriculum development and program development initiatives
- Conduct regular review of program quality
- Support program management through analysis of performance and review scheduling
