Details: June Deveau is a visual artist living and working in the Southwestern region of Nova Scotia, Canada, better known as " the French Shore". The inspiration that guides June through her work is gathered from the rich cultural background rooted in the Acadian villages along St. Mary’s Bay. She endeavours to express the beauty of this area and to honor the traditional crafts, values and skills of the past. Many of the titles for her paintings are written in acadian french.
 
The site is powered by InnovaIT's Content Management System (InnovaCMS) and e-Commerce Catalog (eCat). The Content Managament System is particularly valuable to Ms. Deveau, who continues to develop both French and English versions of the website through the CMS Tool. The application also allows the artist to annotate images with voice recordings explaining the work, themes and media. Those multimedia additions will be made as interest in various works is evaluated.
 
In addition to original paintings available in the gallery, reproductions of all pieces presented can be purchased in matted print or even picture card formats. Payment for artwork purchased can be made through PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard. In 2008, June will be looking into incorporating social networking and viral marketing tools including a greetings engine that will allow guests to send formatted images of June's work as a greeting card, with links back to the site to drive a word-of-mouth campaign.
